What is “Superuser” ?
In computers and technology humans are called users. In a sense, it is dehumanizing and ironic. In the real world it could be offensive if someone called you a user. The connotation is you are a weight, a leech, or addicted to sensory altering subtances . We reclaim “user”, in computers they’re not just users, there is the first user, user 0 or root. The owner of the system a SUPREMEly powerful all knowing human, with access to everything, they have super powers and can do whatever they want. It’s this idea of an admin or an administrator, the super administrator user zero is called superuser . We invite you to imagine an empowered version of yourself! Welcome to Superuser.
