Our Story
Welcome to the intersection of hacker culture, fashion and streetwear . We couple a legit real world designer and a legit real world hacker to come up with each product. A percentage of the proceeds from each and every sale goes to them and to support hactivist causes. It is really important to us that each piece in the collection is a limited edition expression of art. We take things beyond the traditional black hoodies with bumper sticker style sayings on it. Our journey began in the depths of hackerspaces around the world, where I learned the power of true expression and that the human spirit is unstoppable. It was the same kind of energy that I experienced in underground galleries and art openings from Tokyo, to Johannesburg, to Berlin, and beyond. Our apparel designers, our hackers, and myself, all have a foot in different worlds and come together to craft a line that embodies the spirit of digital defiance.
Hackers are seen as anonymous masses in hoodies with masked faces. NOTANON challenges this vision by daring to stand in the spotlight. Not a monolith, not a trope, not generic, not a stereotype, not a number, NOTANON. We are thrilled to unveil our collection to the world—a testament to the audacious spirit of those who dare to wear their cyber identity as a badge of honor and who carve out their own unique voice and story. We can be athletes, artists, creators, dancers, djs, eccentrics, fashionistas and yes hackers.
Our commitment to the community extends beyond the sartorial, as we pledge to support the ongoing struggle for a fair and just internet. To this end, a percentage of all proceeds will be dedicated to hacktivists ardently working towards this cause. We have integrated sustainable practices into our production processes, aiming to reduce the environmental impact of their products.
